Epcot F&W Sunday or HS EMH Day?

I'm planning way ahead (trying to ignore the miserable weather outside!) but am working on plans for our October trip. The grandparents will be joining us for the first few days and we have planned to do HS, Epcot and MNSSHP while they're with us. This will leave us with Sunday and Monday for HS and Epcot. I've realized that Sunday is either going to be a busy weekend F&W day, or a HS EMH morning according to touring plans. Am I just way ahead of myself and the EMH days will likely change? If not, which park would you do on that Sunday? We will have hoppers if there's a strategy there. I'm expecting crowded but hoping to avoid the worst of it! Thank you!

My new strategy for F&W is to do the WS at 11 am then FW in the evening.

If you're doing HS with your parents do you really want to go back?

I truly never thought about doing Epcot “backwards” so thank you! Do you schedule fast passes for the evening then? I’m sure my parents would be glad to not need hoppers so this might work.

This will be our only HS visit during the trip. With the hoppers, I had thought maybe Epcot FW Sunday morning and HS less busy stuff (shows mainly) Sunday night. Then Toy Story Land Monday morning and Epcot WS Monday night. Save the busier stuff for Monday?

Where are you staying?

Yes, FP for the evening.

I'm not a fan of hopping, it just doesn't seem worth the travel time and cost to me.

EMH doesn't change.

We try and avoid F&W on the weekends as its usually very crowded.
We have done HS on a Sunday and it wasn't terrible. F&W on a Monday is much better.

We are at BCV which is mainly why we picked these two parks. We usually do an afternoon break too, so hopping for us would just mean going to a different park that night.

We’ve never done F&W on a weekend but I’ve heard it’s terrible. I’m just afraid that HS on an EMH morning post SDD will be just as bad haha. The chances of us making it there in time for EMH are slim.

Avoid Epcot F&W on the weekends (that's when all the local go). And remember that the World Showcase doesn't open until 11ish.

For Epcot:

Head over the WS entrance just before 11, head right to France, eat and drink your way over to Mexico. Hit up TT, MS, SE, then Soarin', LWTH and the other attractions in that corner. Over to Canada, England, swing by Les Halles one more time. Pick a spot on the bridge to Illuminations!

I *think* I'd so Epcot on Sunday, HS on Monday.

Thank you! I think this plan is exactly what we are going to do. Might plan an ADR for Epcot dinner so we don't have to fight the crowds at the booths for lunch and dinner!
