Considering visiting F&W opening Thursday 8/30, will be first time. Only interested in the booths, however when you buy something how hard is it find a table and chairs to enjoy your food? Should we expect to eat while walking the whole night? If yes we might reconsider , thank you

I don’t remember any extra benches or tables being added for the festivals. Disney usually sell a souvenir square plate that you can use while you walk around. I always have a small backpack so I can keep both hands free for food and beverage.

I think they have a few standing tables clustered around but not much ... opposite Canada and near the UK along the water they usually have a section with tables. It's typically eat on the go or find a bench, fountain, curb to sit along. There's always the popular trashcan tabletop option as well. The plates and servings are sized so that it's not much of a problem to eat standing wherever. But yeah, it's sort of an order the food, then find a place to stand and eat/drink.

We were there for the first week of F&W last year and spent a couple of our days in Epcot. The weekend night we were there was packed so we didn't do many of the booths but the weekday there were basically no wait times for anything and always found a nearby bench or curb of some sort to sit on if necessary.

Also as mentioned, the portions are small so most items aren't taking very much time to eat before heading to the next destination. Also depends on the type of food you're getting but I didn't even feel the need to sit for a lot of them.

Most tables added for F&W are bar height and don’t have chairs. There are a few areas with tables and chairs - by the Brazil booth (though beware the chairs are metal and get HOT in the sun), in the America pavilion there are some umbrella tables, picnic tables or could even probably go to a table at the quick serve, handful of tables & chairs by the Africa outpost, some tables and chairs outside the wine store in Italy. That’s all I can think of with chairs. It’s fun but not really a relaxing dining experience.

You may want to consider buying a F&W tray at the Festival Center. It is a plastic tray that has a separate cup holder. I bought mine 3 years ago and I bring t along. Helps a bit. We now prefer doing the booths at lunch and maybe one evening...other evenings we still prefer ADR to relax and enjoy our dinner AND we never go on Fri evenings, Sat day or evening, too crowded for our tastes! ENJOY!:cheer2:

Yes, be prepared to wait in long lines for small portions and then walk around with your food. This is why we don't enjoy F&W!

Disney puts up a LOT of standing tables (cocktail party height) and I rarely have problems finding a place to stand to eat. They do not add a lot of "seats" however, so you won't be seating.

Generally a Thursday isn't a packed day, but..... you are going day one of the festival. All bets are off. This is a very popular event with locals and the one time I went on opening day it was PACKED. (That was when they opened on a Friday however).

Yeah...as PPs have stated, I would not count on having any where to 'sit' or even put your food down. It's not set up like that. Eat, move to next booth.:drinking1 :tiptoe: Eat, move to next booth. :tiptoe::drinking1 ...or is that just me???:confused3:confused3:confused3
