Does anyone know how late the extra evening hours are at Epcot and is it for both WS and FW? Thanks! :thumbsup2

we just got back from epcot emh on friday. Both world showcase and future world were open to walk around, but only certain attractions were open. When we got our wristbands they gave us a list of everything open

The American Adventure- certain show times
The Circle of life
El Rio Del Tiempo
Honey, I shrunk the Audience- certain times
Fegment
Living seas with turtle talk w/ crush until 11:40
living with the land
Maelstrom
Msision: Space
O Canada!
Soarin
Spaceship Earth
Test Track(with fastpass)
Also make sure you note only Test Track had a fastpass. We went to soarin to get a fastpass only to realize they didn't have fastpasses during evening emh and there was already and 80 min wait :sad2:
hope this helps

i didnt realize you asked until how long..it is normally 3 hours after official closing(world show case) you can check on allears or disney website
on friday future world closed at 7 ws closed at 9 and emh was until 12

Hi--I am confused on this as well... if FW closes at 7 and WS closes at 9... what time does EMH end---is it 12 for both, in which case that really means FW doesn't really close at 7??? Or does FW close from 7-9 and then open back up again for EMH??

Trying to plan our trip in two weeks and scratching my head....

I have an Epcot related EMH question too..

If we're not hotel guests, can we still walk around and shop during the evening extra magic hours? I'd love to take that time to take in World Showcase and its shops.

Also, how can I find out what eateries are open?

The " big" rides in FW don't close at 7. They are Mission Space, Test Track and now Soarin. They are open until Epcot closes every night. I also think the electric umbrella is also open every night until Epcot closes as well as innoventions.

You can stay in all the parks to eat or shop just can't do the rides and shows :sunny:

Epcot is very confusing due to the different posted hours for FW and WS. Simply put, although FW normally closes at 7:00pm daily the big attractions like Soarin', Test Track, Mission: Space, and Spaceship Earth remain running until 9:00pm, or the closing time of WS, whichever is later.
This is true every day of the year. The evening EMH then begins either at 9:00pm or the closing time of WS, again whichever is later, and runs for the next three hours.

Of course, given the lines at the major attractions during the Epcot EMH, I'm not sure why anyone would WANT to go there!

We actually had the shortest wait for Soarin at EMH. It was only 30 minutes. I think people feel the EMH at night are really crowded and I have not found this to be so.

We were there last September at a very slow time, and Epcot EMH was swamped. We went straight to TT and rode it with only a 10 minute wait, but when we arrived at Soarin at 9:30, it was already over 40 minutes. We did enjoy our time at the MK EMH (we seemed to go the opposite way of others so did not hit crowds), but will not return for Epcot.

Honestly I dont think thats such a long wait for Soarin. Even on an EMH night.

Maybe not normally, but when we only waited for 5 minutes and 20 minutes earlier that day, 40 minutes was very long IMHO. Keep in mind that it was extremely slow the week I was there, though.
