The barge has not yet returned to the show. However it should return by the end of January.

Random comment - During our last vacation in Auguest, my family had the last reservations at the Princess Dinner in Norway and we took a loooong time to eat. Well while walking out afterward it seemed that we had Epcot to ourselves... it was so cool... then BOOM!!!! the biggest explosion I have ever seen or heard in my life. We were so scared for a little bit until none of the CM cleaning up even flinched. WOW was that ever an explosion... if you can stay and see it - it's quite amazing.

Yep every night (when the inferno barge is used), they blow off the extra propane after the show. It is very cool to hear and even better to watch.

I wish the barge were going to be back by January 11th when I get there. I would make sure to hang around and watch the big blow. How long is it blown after the fireworks are done?

Phew - I'm glad to see the barge is expected to return at the end of January.

My wife and I were recently watching Modern Marvels - Walt Disney World and they were talking about the barge. I recall the article in September regarding it blowing up and was wondering if it was going to make a come back.

We saw Modern Marvels too. It was a great show. VERY interesting facts that I hadn't heard before. I wish the barge was going to be back soon. Does anybody have any updates about when the barge will be back in Illuminations?
