Epcot entry - least walking?

Is it much quicker to walk from Beach Club to Frozen, than from the bus stops at the front to Frozen? We have a FP so it’s not an issue of beating crowds - just looking to minimize walking. Thanks!

I would think so. The International entrance at Epcot is much closer to Frozen than coming in the front of the park and working you way through to World Showcase.

Not really. You’re still walking halfway around World Showcase. Unless you’re staying at one of the Epcot resorts, going in the IG isn’t really much of a step-saver.

We always stay at the Beach Club. We have gone straight to Frozen upon entry from IG and it was before 11 am. We had to walk all the way around so, I am with the pp, I don't think there is much difference. It was a nice long walk for us.

Nope.

From doing a rough measurement before I think Mexico is exactly the same difference from the front as IG.

That being said it's a way long walk from BC than from the busses to the entrance.

The benefit of IG is simply being in the WS already if you are looking for food.

Plus, with the coming of the GONDOLAS, the IG entrance will be more busy than we’re used to.

I think the distance is probably relatively the same, however IG might be quicker simply due to the construction areas in the front of EP.

Keep in mind, the only way to get to Frozen is from the Mexico side if you're going early before the World Showcase is technically open. So if you are trying to go to frozen at 9:30 a.m., you'd still have to walk all the way around to the Mexico side. So by that point you aren't necessarily avoiding walking. You might, though, avoid some crowd with entering.

If you're at an Epcot resort, use the IG. Otherwise the front gate is fine. The distance between the two is a wash really. It's all about how long you stand in the security line. The IG lines will be shorter(for now) but if you aren't staying at an Epcot resort you'll have to work out how you're getting there.

I'm thinking OP is not at BC but contemplating going there to enter IG (like via Uber or something)
That or they are confused about bus access from BC

Oh okay, yeah that makes more sense. Agree it would require more walking that way since not only are you walking from the park entrance to the ride, before that you have to walk from the BC lobby to the IG park entrance, whereas the buses near the Future World entrance are pretty close to the entrance.

People mention this a lot. If you look at a map (like Robo's!), you will see that the walk from the IG to Norway is actually a hair shorter via Canada and Mexico than it would be via France, etc.

It was amazing to see Robos maps and see that there is very little difference walking from the front gate or the IG to Norway.

AND...
You have to actually GET TO the International Gateway before you can enter Epcot from that gate.
All in all, there are advantages and disadvantages to both entrances.

According to google maps walking directions - it's quite literally the same distance depending on where the bus drops you off @ Epcot vs Beach Club resort. If you happen to arrive via Monorail to Epcot, that distance may shave a few minutes of walking.
