Epcot Early Entrance from BWV??

Yet another question about getting to EPCOT from BWV. Yesterday, I decided to surprise DH with a Segway Tour for Father's Day. Can we get early admission via. the WS entrance if we are going to a pre-opening tour, or do you have to use the main entrance?? Anyone know??

I believe the WS entrance would be open. We've walked to the Princess Breakfast which opens prior to the park. They allowed us in and we actually saw the beginning of the Segway tour. Looks like fun. My answer would be "Yes", but things do and can change.

Yes, you can get early entrance through the International Gateway.

I just read about this at Allears.com this morning. It says the International Gateway is NOT open and you have to find your own transporation to the front of the park to get in for the early segway tours. They just added one at 7:45 am. You're supposed to go through the same line as the breakfast in Norway people for early entrance.

If that is true, then it has changed. My DH & I were able to walk through the IG and then through the park to get to the Segway tour meet. All we did was tell the CMs at the IG gate. I had my confirmation number, but the CMs had a list and it wasn't a problem.

I just took the Backstage Magic tour a few weeks ago and I was staying at BC. I had no problem getting in using IG. It was a lovely walk through WS all by myself before the park opened. I even got a few shots of the Pirate ship near the front turnstiles with no one else in the shot. Matter of fact, they never checked my confirmation # or asked for my name, they just let me in and it was about 8:15.

I did the very same thing for my husband last Father's Day. Big hit with him! We stayed at the Boardwalk, and he walked through IG no problem. We did check at the guest services desk at BW, and they called to make sure someone would be there to let him in that day. The kids and I met my husband at the end of the tour--got to see him and the group glide by the Canada pavilion.

We have a 7:45 Segway tour booked for our August trip and just had this discussion at dinner tonight! We will be staying at the BCV...I guess we will just check with the hotel desk and have them check to make sure someone will be at the IG early. Sure hope so!

Great decision... I would love to do the Segway tour (speaking as a man) You're a good wife.... and mother too... even though you're mean... (your words).

We're leaving next week for HHI. Something new. You know what I mean.

Have a great time at HHI. We thought the salt marsh was super-cool. Make sure to do the Low County Boil if it is offered, and if DW needs a book to read and has not read it yet - tell her The Time Traveller's Wife is a great beach-read.

What is Low Country Boil?

OMG DW reads all the time (romance novels) and her favorite genre is time travelling. I'll tell her this. Good chance she has already read it. She is always searching for a new book to read.

Can't wait to get going to HHI. Gonna mis VB though.... I assume your daughter has her cast off now and will be able to play in the waves. Have a great time.
