But I have no problem admitting that our trip last year with my in laws was a lot more fun and a lot less stress because we were willing to enjoy our trip and loosen up with a drink or two. Something about sharing a margarita with my MIL and having her talk about how it reminded her of a night when she and FIL were younger, or the 2 sons bonding with dad over a flight of whiskey..
Liquor makes everything better. The secret is drinking for endurance not for intensity. That was my problem circling the World Showcase the second time, I was feeling pretty fine and thought a tequila flight would be a good idea. And like Drunk Icarus I flew to close to the sun. Thankfully I had a wonderful pit crew with me and my son (6 at the time) suggested asking the kakigori stand in Japan to flavor the ice with gatorade. If only Syd Barret had had a son like that...
Despite what they tell you, alcohol has always and will always be consumed in every Disney park. Even if I have to bring it in in bottles stored in a diaper bag (don't wanna mix those up).
