Hey everyone! I was wondering if you had a dessert party at Epcot as part of your rehearsal dinner if your bridal party needed tickets to get in or no? I would want to make tickets as much of a non-requirement as possible to ease people's cost. (That's going to be my family's number 1 complaint)

Also, if you do need tickets, what's the deal with the Illuminations cruises? I heard they only seat 10? :confused3

yes we were told that you needed tickets or we had to pay a viewing fee for our dessert party.

Having said that no one checked the tickets on the night

So you could just pay the viewing fee if people didn't have tickets? The viewing fee isn't that much and we're only talking about the bridal party.

We paid the viewing fee for all of our guests (minus ten of our family members who had AP's). We had ours after our RD as a welcome party with most of our guests.

I just had my planning session and I was told that it would be the site fee + set up fee and the viewing fee per guest unless they had an Annual Pass - since they can see the dates on them and they cannot run a parkhopper or day ticket to see if they are valid.

Ok, This seems kind of goofy. If my guests have park tickets for the day, I am not paying the viewing fee. I have a bunch that live around the Orlando that are buying tickets just for the day of the wedding. Maybe I will have those that have tickets go through the turnstiles & meet us at the Dp location. Seems like a pain but why should Disney get paid twice!?!
