Epcot DiveQuest Gift Card Question

Does anyone know if you can use a Disney GC to pay for the DiveQuest Experience in Epcot? I called and asked a Disney representative, but she told me that "you can't use Disney Gift Cards in much of Downtown Disney"! I told her that DiveQuest was in Epcot and not in Downtown Disney, but she kept repeating herself as if she was reading a script! Hopefully you guys will know better!

I'm trying to figure out a way to give the experience as a Birthday gift (in Feb) for our vacation in March. If anyone has a better idea than a GC, please let me know.

Maybe she thought you meant DisneyQuest? Isn't that in DTD?

I don't know for sure,but I would absolutely "think" it could be used for that.

The Cast Member may have gotten DiveQuest confused with DisneyQuest.

Shoot! I didn't even think of that at the time! She definitely must have thought I was talking about DQ in DTD! I was so involved in trying to get an answer that I didn't think outside the box! Thanks for the replies. Maybe I will try giving them a call back later (after work) with my new found info, haha
