We are planning out annual F&W Festival Weekend Getaway for Veteran's Day Weekend. Our plan was to come for 4 nights, go to the parks for 3. Well, thanks to a fantastic independent ticket broker (Disney approved), we are getting MYW tickets for 3 days with one day free. Score!

Since we will arrive before noon on Day 1, we can go to a park for a 4th day! Normally we just use this day to hit DTD or walk the Boardwalk. Since we have been going down for F&W that past few years, we haven't been eating a sit down meal at EPCOT for the past couple of trips. So I am excited!

But... where to eat?

We have done both French restaurants in the near past (I love the fancy one, BF was just ok with it, we were both kind of dissapointed with the downstairs restaurant, but that could be because we didn't need to be eating a sit down dinner after all the grazing we did at F&W!)

Of course Le Cellier is booked... maybe some day I will get there.

Was thinking of Italy, but we will go to Il Mulino (it's a tradition) for Italian that weekend.

How is China? Japan? I wouldn't come all the way to Disney to do Teppanayaki, but isn't there a regular restaurant as well?

Maybe Germany... it is a buffet though and I wanted to the first night to be special...

So maybe I abandon this idea and just go to MK for a few hours and eat near there or DTD? LOL.

Unless anyone else has any suggestions...

Teppan Edo is delicious! Coral Reef gets mixed reviews, but we really enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food there. You can always keep trying for Le Cellier, people are always changing and cancelling their reservations. Dinner there is 2 credits now, and lunch is 1 (if you're doing the dining plan). We are also going to the F&W festival this year for the first time, and are really just looking forward to eating around the world, rather than doing a sit down meal at Epcot.

Wow there arent very many options left!! Ok you dont want teppanyaki, but what about Tokyo Dining?? Other than that, maybe you are better off at eating near MK or DTD. MK = Ohana dinner? DTD = Wolfgang puck cafe?

I agree, Teppan Edo is DELISH! My fave place. ;) Believe it or not, the steak at teppan was far better than the one i had at le cellier.

I forgot about coral reef!! great suggestion!

I have heard mixed reviews on Coral Reef. One good thing is that I heard is that their steaks are great. Hmm..

I LOVE Hibachi style... do they have appetizers/sushi as well? I just have to convince my BF to go! He will say "we can do that in Boston." Sure we can... but we never do! I think that will be my plan...

What about one of the Mexican restaurants (San Angel Inn or the new one La Hacienda. . .).

Oh, and don't forget to get the Restaurant.com coupon for Il Mulino.

I love Teppan Edo as well, it really is a great steak. Coral Reef is good too, but I've heard it's iffy on the service though I had great service when I was there. The Germany buffet is actually pretty good, not the BEST German food but pretty darn good. I would have trouble choosing between those three for my next trip if I had to do just one.

I would suggest Rose and Crown especially if your BF enjoys a pretty good beer selection. If you can get a ressi for later evening it is a great place to watch illuminations from as well.

If as it sould like you are from the Boston area I would suspect you may (as I have have been in the past) be a bit dissapointed in some of the seafood options. Not that Disney doesnt have some really good seafood, they do but we up here in New England have the best seafood around, in my opinion of course.:woohoo:
