Epcot Dining Experts...Help!

We like to save our sit-down meal for dinner and eat around the world for breakfast and lunch and snacks! Last time we had pastries from France for breakfast, followed up by a beavertail in Canada ( they are gone ). Then around 11:00 am we went to Mexico CS and had a platter (can't remember what was on it though) with a yummy layered frozen margarita! Around 2pm, we headed over to the UK and got a small thing of fish and chips with a few pints of Guiness! Around 4, we stopped and had Kaki Gori in Japan. We finally ate dinner at Biergarten at 8pm and loved it!. It seems like alot of food, but we always split everything between the 3 of us (except for the alcohol) and do alot of walking, so it tends to make you hungry.

I love eating around the world! :rotfl2:

We had dinner at Le Cellier Steakhouse (Canada) and it was marvellous.

We like mexico for the ambiance. Germany is fun also. Land grill is a good character meal. Of course le cellier is hard to beat. We also lov e eating fast food mexican and sitting by the lake, or quiche and a pastry at the pastry shop in france. As you can see, we love eating in epcot. that is one reason we are going there 3 days during our trip!

The Tangerine Cafe in Morocco is really good. The Fish and Chips also are pretty good.

Another vote for Le Cellier. I've had lunch and dinner here and always enjoyed both.

The Garden Grille also in The Land is a revolving restaurant. Lunch and dinner are served family style (set menu). This is a character meal with Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, if Im not mistaken. EXCELLENT food and alot of fun.

The characters are Farmer Mickey and Chip & Dale.

Another vote for Tangierine Cafe here! We love the food and it's nice to sit outside and relax if it's not too hot. DD(6) enjoys it, as well. If you've got any pickly eaters, I think I remember them also serving burgers.

We like to have our first lunch at the Rose and Crown it is so relaxing to sit outside and just watch the boats go by. The shepards pie is my choice with the barley soup.

Thanks for all of the great responses! So many fun places to choose from - it will be hard! I am leaning towards the Garden Grill because we will have our 6 year old with us. That said, she loves fish & chips!

We ate outside one year in Mexico, and I felt like I was in Hitchcock's movie "The Birds" - Yikes! It was frightening.

We love to eat CS in Japan. We also like to eat at Sunshine Seasons, although we haven't been there since the changes. We have eaten in China, but didn't care for it.

You will love the changes at Sunshine Seasons! I was very impressed with the quality of the food, considering its CS. I went there 2 days in a row just for the salmon. Their kids meals are also an excellent value and they have more adventurous kids' meals than elsewhere in the World.

DH and I vote for Biergarten. It's got a great selection for picky and adventurous eaters, and great desserts. We always make sure to schedule our PS for when the Oompah band is playing (starting about 12:30 p.m.) and after, we walk off all of the carbs through the rest of the day. Then later, for a light dinner, we share some fruit and an order of fish from the UK.

Le Cellier. Whatever else you order, make sure to ask for more pretzel bread (it's complimentary). It's to die for!

My favorite is a big, tender, juicy Smoked Turkey Leg!!!! and a Mickey Ears Ice Cream Treat!! Not too heavy but DELICIOUS!!! This leaves me with tummy room for a great Dinner and a few extra dollars to pay for it.

mmmmmmm...I had forgotten about the Turkeys Legs!! YUM!! I'll be heading over to that cart outside of America is just under 10 days to get one.

So hard to choose! We have loved lunches at Garden Grill (DS's fave retaurant in the entire World. He's 5), Biergarten (DH's fave but DS loved the oompah music) and Le Cellier (my favorite!).

We had an amazing lunch at Le Cellier in August. It was our first time, and it was amazing. The restaurant itself is such a nice break from the heat of Epcot in the afternoon. Also, in all of my trips I had never really explored the Canadian pavilion. It was so neat to see the waterfall and the area behind the gift shop. We will eat there again in the future.

We had a quick trip in October - loved Marrakesh for lunch (doing it again in December). Dinner at the Garden Grill was good - Farmer Mickey and Goofy, Chip and Dale (who were hilarious). Make sure you get seated on the bottom row if you go here - the view of the scenery is much better. We always loved the old Sunshine Seasons food court, and have yet to try the new version but it smelled yummy! And we found out that the Electric Umbrella has fantastic chicken strips...not sure why :confused3 but delicious! We do dinner at San Angel every trip, but did not enjoy Biergarten. We though the food was just bleh.

So... my pick would be Marrakesh, but Garden Grill is more than acceptable as an alternative! :flower:

Our choices are typically Rose and Crown or Le Cellier.

Last trip, DH and I went to Le Cellier and split an order of the cheese soup and a steak sandwich. It was plenty of food, very tasty and fresh, and a nice relaxing break.

Rose and Crown is also fun for lunch. Great soups, DH loves the cheese plate with a beer, and the fish and chips are a staple. Plus, if it's a nice day, the patio can't be beat. It's just a beautiful place to sit and look around the World Showcase. I love Epcot!
