Just an FYI. This is a "tier 1" fast pass. We made it and were surprised that Donald and Pluto are no longer there. There are only three characters now, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. We liked it better before it was fast pass, honestly.

The irony is that when it was all 5, I would have considered burning a FP for it; but with only 3 I wouldn't consider it. It's standby or nothing for us this year.

We fast passed it thinking Pluto would be there because he was in 2013, but also to get Mickey and Minnie in their regular clothes. It was disappointing that he wasn’t there because we while we like Goofy, we had character meals to see him. This was our first trip missing Pluto and the children love him. But then we are in the under 40 inch crowd with my son so and I travel alone with my children. Soarin and Test Track aren’t options; so it wasn’t a wasted fast pass for us.

Glad we got to see this with all five characters, shortly before it was reduced to just three. It was actually our longest wait of the day, since we had a ticket snafu and were delayed about 15 minutes at RD. By the time we arrived it was about a 30 minute wait to see Mickey, plus about 5 or so minutes for each of the others, so the whole experience took about an hour! (One advantage of it being only three characters is that you are out more quickly.)

We stopped by the character spot last Monday after leaving Akershus breakfast--it was maybe around 9:15. The wait was only about 5 minutes. It probably took us around 15-20 minutes total to do the whole attraction.

From what I'm reading here it sounds like the Disney Visa meet and greet is equal to the character spot now and it's not worth FPing the spot anymore?

We saw pluto and minnie at the visa cardholder location at epcot and also saw pluto at ohana.... then walked across to character spot and saw mickey goofy and minnie again. We went close to park close less than five min wait... Dd wanted to see donald and daisy as well and we saw them goofy and minnie again at the silly sideshow area in fantasyland with not much of a wait at all for either.... Went about thirty min before wishes but it was last month.....hope that helps.

Saw Donald dressed in poncho over by Mexico on a little side area. Would have missed it if I wasn't getting a margarita!! : )

ECS was never a good choice for FP since it was offered. Lines are short ever since it refurbed and reopened before FP+ came along.

Are the three characters fixed then or are they on some sort do rotation? I loved it when it was all five because we were able to see a bunch right in a row

I think it is "fixed" - Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. Now Donald is only in Mexico in cabellero garb.

That is disappointing, I loved that all of the Fab 5 were in one spot!!!

Oh well, we'll be trying the VISA meet & greet this year anyways...
