EPCOT Character Spot...who's there?

Booked our FP+ reservations for Thanksgiving week and since we have two little ones in our travel party I was looking for something they might enjoy. I ended up with the EPCOT Character Spot. Last time I did that was when my own kids were small...and I think we met Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and maybe Chip and Dale?

So who is there now? I think I read Baymax maybe?

Typically Mickey, Minnie & Goofy.

Across the way, there's a meet and greet for Baymax and Joy and Sadness.

In February, it was Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. Might be different now.

BayMax is in a separate area that is across the Breezeway from this location. BayMax, Joy, and Sadness are there. In the Character Spot is Mickey, Minnie, and, if i remember correctly, Goofy. There isn't a fastpass for the area with BayMax, Joy, and Sadness.

AH...perfect! I'd like to use this is a chance to see how the boys react to the characters to determine if a character meal later in the week will be a good idea. I'm not going to worry about waiting for Baymax as I imagine the lines for him might be long. I remember when he met over at HS and my SIL and nephew waited 45+ minutes to see him...um no!

Actually, if you go at the right time, there is no line to meet him. The longest lines for him are in the morning. If you wait until late afternoon or after dinner, there is no line.

Hmm...good to know. We have this scheduled for a Sunday afternoon after 5:30pm so maybe we will have time to visit Baymax also. We'll see...thanks!

How does this work? Travelling with a little one now and I've never done the character meets before. Does the FP let you see all the characters or do you have to pick one?

At Character Spot, you meet all 3, one after another. They are not together
At AK Character Outpost you meet both Mickey and Minnie together (only place you can do this at WDW by the way)
At MK for the Princesses you pick a pair to get a FP for. You see both of them, one after another.

At the character spot, you will get Mickey, Minnie and usually Goofy. I have seen Donald in there on a very rare occasion.

Yikes, I thought BayMax and Sadness were at the Character Spot so I got a FPP for it. Oh well...the best laid plans...
