EPCOT breakfast for veggies

Just booked a trip for next week and plan to hit EPCOT on our first day. We're staying at POR and thought we'd pick up some breakfast when we get to EPCOT. However, looking at the menus, the choices seem to be limited - Electric Umbrella seems to be about it.

Presumably with the below I could have something without the sausage/bacon and, as a veggie, I'll be OK.
Cheese Omelet with Bacon - cheese omelet served with hash browns, and a biscuit $6.09

Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich - $4.99

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich - $4.99

Cheese Omelet with Sausage served with hash browns, and a biscuit $6.09

Anyone done this?

There is a coffee shop on the opposite side to Electric umbrella near where Ice Station cool used to be (its litterally on the right of the main fountain as you go under the ball its right in front of you. In there they used to do like croisants and stuff which might be a better idea. Never done the veggie option on a meat thing at Disney apart from in sit down places but I couldn't see it being a big problem

Ugh, I would try to eat somewhere else. Electric Umbrella is disgusting.

Personally, I'd suggest eating at Boatwrights before you go to the park. They have some great breakfast options there.

I was going to suggest that you check out the CS in the Land Pavillion, they're lunch menus were packed with veggie options last year. Unfortunately they don't do breakfast. :furious:

I know I'm never hungry early in the morning, why not grab fruit or a granola bar before leaving PO and then have an early lunch over there. You get the healthy veggie option, which too me is always a huge plus. :goodvibes As a former veggie that went back to eating some poultry, I'm the one that always goes for organic at any cost. Now if they only made my Diet Pepsi that way, I would never have a need to ever eat anything processed again. popcorn::

sunshine seasons in the land pavillion definitely had breakfast options back in january... although i could not find a menu for it on the dis or allearsnet...

I'd order a plain cheese omelet with hash browns and a biscuit. Same way I order a simple hot dog without fries when just a basket is on the menu.

Fountainview Cafe is the bakery-like location mentioned above. If you head there first thing, there is no line; and the food is very fresh. The croissants are very, very good -- much better than they look
Fruit Crosissant (apple):

Chocolate Croissant:

Breakfast Pocket (eggs, cheese, ham, sausage) -- yummy!!!

Typical Fruit Cup -- very fresh:

BTW, we've always found breakfast at Electric Umbrella to be ok. It's pretty much comparable to a typical fast food breakfast. Servings are a little small though -- and we're not big breakfast eaters.

Yeah someone knew where I was on about (I know description was very odd)! Have to remember what its called for future reference.

Fruit croissants were fantastic and they do lovely coffee in there including latte's and capaccinos.

In February they only had a few fruit and pastry options for breakfast--good if you only want something light but rather lacking if you want something with protein.
