EPCOT Birthday dinner for 5yo boy?

Which EPCOT restaurant do you recommend for a birthday dinner for a boy turning 6?

i agree w/the previous poster... the garden grille at the land...

if you wanted a world showcase meal, i would try biergarten (there's some fun music and activity there) or my 7yo ds would definitely choose nine dragons 'cause he *LOVES* chinese food...

Another Garden Grille here. We celebrated my DD's 6th birthday here last year and it was the best place we ate. They really doted on her, announcing her birthday to the restaurant, singing to her and bringing a very big cake (enough for 8 - we couldn't eat it all). It was so yummy. The meal here is excellent also and they bring it all right to your table - no buffet. The character interaction was great. We got an early PS (about 5:00) so that may have helped.

If they like Chinese food, you may want to try Teppenyaki. Its done Bennihana style. Where the chef cooks your food right in front of you. My son adored watching the chef cook when he was 5. Of course he's 11 now and still enjoys the restaurant.

If you are into trying something new and like German food, you might want to give Biergarten a try. I don't like German food but my DS had a great birthday there last year when he turned 7. I got the feeling that they don't get a lot of kids' birthdays. The waitress made sure that he got a cake -- not just a cupcake. She and one of the other waitresses sang Happy Birthday to him in German. Then during the Oompa band's performance the whole restaurant toasted him! It was really quite something and something that he is still talking about!
