Epcot arrival for Segway tour

I have a Segway tour booked for T'Giving week and am thinking about getting to the park that early. I have 2 options bc my mom and DD will meet me there later. I can take the car, but what time does the parking lot open? Or, I can take the monorail so I'll have to take the boat from WL to MK and then go to TTC.

Which do you suggest for an early arrival to park (I have to be there by 7:30 a.m.)?

We just did this last week. The parking lot opens up at 7 a.m. from what I can tell because of the character breakfast. We actually ended up parking in the Cast Member parking lot which was nice because it is easier to walk from/to. I would drive. Be prepared for confusion when you get to the turnstiles. They do these tours all the time, but getting to guest relations is a huge process. We waited for a while. But, the Cast Members on the tour were awesome. We had Larry meet us and then Chase did his first solo tour (he was being tested that day) with all of us. I was worried that the Segway would be hard to operate but even a klutz like me got the hang of it. I hope you have fun too!!

I don't think the boats & monorails would get you there on time.

The parking lot is open all night, I believe, with the toll booths unattended but not blocked. I know they're open by 6:15.
