I was reading a trip report and this family mentioned playing something called "Toon Tag"...can someone tell me what and where it is? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe that's the name of one of the interactive video games set up in Innoventions. There are 4 monitors/playstations with monitors overhead so the audience can watch. If I remember correctly, there is a small queue to the side and if you want to play you just line up. The 4 participants each control a Disney Character on the screen, one of which is designated as "it". Then you use a joystick to make your characters chase around on the screen trying to tag the other players. My kids played several times. My 4 year old thought it was the greatest fun!

Thanks so much. My next trip has a 4,5,6,7&8 year old, sounds like something we may need to put on our ever growing list.

Well, KellyJ pretty much summed up ToonTag. I was a cast member at ToonTag last fall and it was so much fun to watch the kids play. It is located in Innoventions East in the Disney Internet Zone. The game starts with a little practice session and the cast member will explain how to play. The game lasts about 2 1/2 minutes and the cast member gives a play-by-play over a microphone while family members can sit down and watch the game on overhead screens. There is no age limit so you can play too and it's a lot of fun. :D It's neat to see an entire family come up and play together. It's basically a huge game of tag in ToonTown with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. You can also run around and collect ice cream cones in ToonTown. It's a lot of fun and you should really enjoy it. In the afternoon the line can get pretty long (about 15 minute wait) so it's a good thing to do in the early morning or especially in the evening so you won't wait at all. While you're there, be sure to stop by the Video D-Mail aread (it's right next to ToonTag) and send a free 10 second video e-mail to someone back home!!

I can't believe you asked about this, Today my 16 year old daughter was talking about this game and hoping they still had it. My kids must have played this game 10 times. It was alot of fun because there are four of them so they each got to be a different character. They loved it.
