Epcot 9 am RD both TT (SR) & Soarin' (SB) by 10:20 for GG ADR?

Is this doable? I've searched here and most people are asking about a FEA RD combo strategy, not TT and Soarin'. Last trip Soarin' was closed and we did TT SR during EMH so nothing to compare. It's a Monday the 3rd week of May. I'm thinking it's doable, but very tight. Hit Soarin' first then TT SR, even though it's back tracking to make it back to Garden Grill for 10:20 ADR.

I think you are better off to reverse this and hit TT first, then try for Soarin'. Since Soarin' added the 3rd theater, wait times have been better. And if you are running behind and it looks like you won't be able to get both in, then you are already in the right area of the park for the GG ADR.

Good point! Although if folks on here don't think it's doable we will cancel the ADR as the rides are our priority. Was trying to get in a breakfast really just for that skillet of cinnamon buns!! (Pathetic, I know!)

I, too, would do TT first and Soarin' second. As long as you are in line for Soarin' by 9:30 am, you should be fine. The other option would be to cancel the ADR and then try for a walk-up after Soarin'. We walked up to GG for dinner on a weekday the week before Christmas and they seated us with only a 20 minute wait. It's always worth asking!

Hadn't thought of that. Another good point, thanks! I may take your advice and just try for a walk up. Won't be heartbroken if we can't get it. Only issue is I only want breakfast and it ends at GG at 10:30, last ADR is 10:20, so still tight for time.

Could I ask a related question? The single rider line at TT is open at rope drop, right?

It has been when we've done it in the past during EMH, so I presume on regular open days it also is. Once, DD and I each even got an entire car to ourselves; taking the single rider concept to a whole new level, riding alllll alone!

Have no DIS folks ever tried this? I figured it was pretty common especially before FEA opened.

We did this back in November. Moderate crowd level. We were toward the front of the rope drop crowd to TT and went thru the single rider line. Got right on and they actually let us ride twice without getting out of the car. Nice! We then went straight to Soarin and probably waited about 20 minutes in line there. I can't tell you what time we got done with all that but I would think if both rides are up and running, you shouldn't have a problem making it thru by that time. I would use the SR line though so you can bypass the design portion and beat the rest of the crowd into a car.

Thank you! Exactly the first hand account I'm looking for.

I definitely think this is doable if both attractions are running as expected and you move swiftly between the two. I'd do TT first. We didn't do this exactly but we did do TT at RD (or closely afterward) and made it through in 45 minutes without doing SR. However, we also had our slow poke 4.5 year old! I'm sure SR would've been much faster without the preschooler in tow. On another day we did Soarin' at RD and waited 32 min after getting into standby line at 9:01 (again with slow poke and we didn't rush there so we weren't even close to the front of the RD pack). When we exited, the posted wait time was 30 min so it was holding steady around 10am. I'd say if you're in the Soarin' line by 9:30, you'll be fine. If you want to be sure you can look at posted wait times over the next couple of Monday mornings to get an idea of how it's averaging.

Thanks all! I think we will head to TT first and do SR, then to Soarin' and hope for the best! Maybe a PPO at GG will open before our date!
