Epcot - 9/30 - how crowded???

I believe that Friday 9/30 is the first day of Food and Wine??? How does this affect Epcot crowds? We were planning to do Epcot that day (we were only planning to do Future World, not World Showcase), but may change our plans if the crowds will be terrible! Any help would be appreciated!

Sorry- I don't know from experience, but am curious myself as we will be there on the 3rd and am worried a little about F&W crowds.
I would think that the crowds would be larger on the first day since people may be planning that as their only day at Epcot simply for the F&W festival. But, I can't be certain and hope someone here has been there and can help us out

I'm planning on being there that day and was wondering this, too. I'm getting worried with all this talk about the crowds on Sat. Anyone?

My hunch is that it won't be too bad. 9/30 is a MNSSHP night at the MK, so many families don't visit other parks in the morning.
