EPCOT 4th of July?

Does EPCOT have a special IllumiNations on the 4th of July? Is it the 9PM show, or do they have a later show, too?

Its been a couple of years since we've been at 4th of July, but they do have a special fireworks show along with Illuminations! We'll be back this year for July 4th (and we'll be at Epcot!!)

Yes, they do have more fireworks on the 4th of July. We spent most of the day at Epcot last 4th of July but headed to MGM for Sorcery in the Sky since it does not happen all that often.

From what I remember, on a previous 4th trip, they do the normal Illuminations show and then it is extended with more fireworks at the end.

Last year Illuminations was at 10pm since Epcot was open until 10pm but currently it is scheduled to close at 9pm this year on the 4th and Illuminations will be at 9pm as well.

We will be there on the 4th of July as well but I thought they were staying open later?

CaliD can you take me with you?? I really enjoyed the 4th fireworks while watching from our room at GF in 2002 . . .

I wanna gooooooooooooooooo . . . .

I cannot possibly wait the amount of days that is on my countdown . . .

And, I also enjoyed watching the fireworks from our room at the GF in 2002. It was awesome, they were all around. I really loved our room in Sago Cay. It was also nice because we could see many fireworks by looking over Conch Key.

We'll be at the BWV this time, with a boardwalk view. Not sure if we'll watch from inside Epcot, or from the balcony, as I'm sure they'd be much better from inside the park.

PS, you'll love staying at the Beach Club & going on the Disney Cruise! I loved staying at the BC, and I loved cruising with DCL! It'll be well worth the wait!

The extended version of Illuminations will only happen on teh 4th of July unfortunately.

So far, it's normal hours for Epcot on the 4th of July.

FW 9am-7pm
WS 11am-9pm
Illuminations 9pm

Quite often on holidays the park will open early due to the expected larger crowds.
