EP Question for iOA & US Pros

I have only been to US a couple of times and it was many years ago. I will be traveling with DS4 and DH to Orlando for a cruise and want to do IOA and US on Friday December 6th. Can I do both parks in one day and do you think I need to buy an EP on a Friday that time of year? The single rider option won't work with DS.

if you bought the ep for both parks together, it would cost $45.99.
(i checked the purchase site just now.)


that leads me to believe that the parks will not be crowded.


i would go early to the park before it opens and hit the highlights of each one without the express pass.

if you find lines to be too long of a wait, you can buy the ep at the park.

go to the website, www.universalorlando.com and see what rides/attractions the two of you can do.
Pflyers, animal actor show, character meets, parades, fieval playground, barney, seussland, jurassic park are things that i think of both of you can spend time at.




came back to edit i misread your question. for some reason i was thinking it was just the two of you.
since it will be 3, you could do all of the rides and use the family rooms for the child swap.
there will be many rides the 4 yo won't be able to do due to height restrictions.


check the website for the layout of the parks.
make a plan on the rides you want to do and a list of those that you can do if you have time.

if you have park to park tickets, you can switch as much as you want between the 2 parks.

I was able to do all of universal in 1 day this past june with the ep. However, it was very rushed. In retro spect, I should have done 2 days.

I would suggest maybe doing a park a day without ep. However, you could get everything done in 1 day with ep.
