Im pretty much incapable of being mean, mainly because ive encountered it soooo much throughout my entire life, and I realize that solves absolutly nothing. It just creates hate and breeds *********. Something the world could do without. Not to say i cant be mean or can be a ******* at times, but in general, thats just not my style. But I agree, for the most part, people are great here, and honestly wouldnt want it any differently.

We have really strict rules on here, the moderators are great for keeping this site relatively positive. A while back we had some trolls who would photoshop people's pictures, it was really really cruel. I can't imagine continuing to post somewhere filled with such immature jerks.

Personally, I'm not that nice. Lolol! I swear a lot and am *****y sometimes, but I censor myself for the DIS.

Basically what Jamie's (sp? sorry I know to many Jamies lol) saying is that we would totally be tearing each other apart if we didn't have those rules.
Except we really wouldn't. Cause generally we're nice to each other here. Occasionally we aren't, but that's generally over the summer and I stop posting cause it gets on my nerves... but yeah, we're generally very friendly people here at the teen disboards

I would rather make someone feel happy about themselves then make them feel terrible so I only compliment. And I hate fighting, I am Drama-free in school and everyone knows not to come to me with it. I just hate feeling/making people feel terrible.

I thought we fought a lot! The other forum I go on (TWoP) has no fights at all. Not even insults, unless you count insulting TV characters/directors/etc. But we don't insult other members!

I'm the same as you I don't like making people feel bad about themselves, I had that enough in school. This forum is really nice.

Another forum I'm on were all like family, its really nice as there has only been like 2 fights on there and if there is the silly person who jsut wants to be negative the forum sticks up for each other.

I think its nice on both that forum and this one to meet people from different aspects of life and interests....its always interesting to read alot of people's posts about thing

I can be really sarcastic, but I try to tone it down for the DIS, since I don't really want to insult anyone I don't know.
Everyone here is really so friendly, and will help with anything.

And I totally blame it all on the movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Robert Downey Jr.. Val Kilmer. Michelle Monaghan. Corbin Bernsen. Go rent it. It's legen-wait for it and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is- dary. Kudos if you get my reference!).

I'm much, much more persuasive and loud in real life. I tone down my language and my sarcasm a lot for this board.

We have pretty strict rules active moderators that make the Dis generaly a nice place to be.

i used to go on a harry potter board kinda like DIS and everyone fought on there ALL THE TIME.
you had these what i'd like to call "popular" people who thought they ruled the whole board and you had people that had smartass comments for everything.
after being on there, DIS seems soooo nice.
i can put up with anything.
i have since quit going to that other site.
