Entry into DCA

Can you enter DCA from the Grand Californian if you're not a guest? I've left that way before. Thought occurred to me that if I could enter that way at opening, it could help get a jump on the crowds. Or it could be a stupid idea.

They let anyone enter but not in the morning. Usually after noon or so you can enter there.

I have not tried it, but have seen other threads where people say you can go through the GCH entrance if you have eaten at the hotel. Not sure if a receipt from Whitewater snacks would do the trick?

That surely used to be ok to do. However I have not seen reports of people doing this since last offseason and with the opening of LMAUA making it unclear if it's still allowed.


On another note, the Special entrance isn't limited to GCH guests, it's definately available to use for guests staying at any of the three DLR hotels.
