Entrance to EPCOT

I have heard that there is a back way entrance into EPCOT in the World Showcase. Is this true? If so, where is it located? Do you have to do the whole bag check and ticket entrance just like at the front?

Yes. we've always entered that way when we take the boats to Epcot. There is a bag check and everything, but usually the lines are shorter. It lets you off by France.

Yep. I prefer this enterance when doing The World Showcase. There are bathrooms and stroller rentals too.

Hi,

International Gateway is located between France and England. If you look on the attached map it is located in the bottom right.

Depending on where you are staying and how you are getting to EPCOT would determine whether its easier to go through here or the main entrance.

We like to use the entrance to leave EPCOT and spend a few hours at Boardwalk.

Basically, it is those coming from YC/BC, BW and the S/D that use the International Gateway entrance. You can arrive either via the Friendship boats or by foot from those resorts. There is no bus service to that entrance.

If you want to take the Friendships or walk to the International Gateway, take your pick-

Beach Club
Yacht Club
Swan
Dolphin

That is correct. Only boats and foot power. No buses, no monorail.

You can also get to and from MGM/Hollywood Studios with the boats and walkways.
