entertainment rate-Hard Rock Hotel

Just received the entertainment rate for the Hard Rock Hotel-August 23rd thru August 28th- for $117.50 per nite. Davehaj

How did you get this rate? We will be there in Orlando in September and I am interested in staying at the Hard Rock. Please let me know. Thanks.

I just came back from 4 nights&also had this rate but you do have to sign up to receive their book&card. Its $29.95 US

I do have the entertainment book for my area so that is not a problem. What was your total cost per night (with taxes, parking, etc.)?

No charge for standard parking which is what we used. I think valet was $10.00 each time. Gardenview room was $117.50 a night plus taxes (not sure what they were)Hope this helps a bit. I'd call the hotel directly.

If you are members of the Disney Club, it also includes the Entertainment Logo and you get the discounts, plus a few other Disney perks. Great savings on offsite hotels honoring the entertainment rate.

I have read that you can NOT use the DC entertainment card....anyone else know about this?

I used my MKC card for an entertainment rate at the Holiday Inn Universal and a friend of mine is using hers for the Ameri Suites in October. She got a rate of 49.95 with this card. So I know you can use it,they just don't make it known because I think they perfer you stay on property. When you call for the discount all you tell them is your an entertainment card holder.

if Universal allowed folks with the DC because of the Entertainment sticker were forced to give the discount but then again the room might just be setting empty otherwise.

the Entertainment discount that comes with Disney Club membership is NOT supposed to be used for hotels in the WDW or Disneyland areas. The Swan and Dolphin make exceptions for DC members, and apparently other hotels in the area do, too.

The Universal hotels (Portofino and Hard Rock) do NOT accept the Disney Club's Entertainment discount, so spend the $20 for a regular Entertainment book (go to www.Entertainment.com for info) so you won't be disappointed.
