entertainment rate and HIFS

Per suggest from this forum I booked a week stay at HIFS this March using an entertainment rate. I have looked online for the book from this area and HIFS is not listed. Now I do believe I have heard from this board also that, that is fine and I can still get a discount. If anyone knows please let me know before buy the entertainment book locally. Thanks

Don't worry about them not being listed. They weren't listed when we went last year, and we got the Entertainment rate also. As long as you were told by HIFS that you have the Ent. rate, you do. You can go ahead and buy the local book. The cards are not area specific when it comes to hotels, airlines, car rental, etc. Any book will do.

I just booked the Entertainment card rate at HIFS for July. Also, I ordered my card thru Mousesavers because they have the book $5 off with free shipping.

I was first quoted a rate of $153 then called back and asked for the card rate and got the same room for $103.

I also just yesterday booked HIFS for 8/29-9/5 with the Entertainment rate and got a good deal, the kids Queen suite for $76! HTH.

No worries!!! The hotel wouldn't book the rate if it weren't available .

We used the Entertainment rate last year and again just a few days ago when we were at HIFS. Definitely have your card with you, they asked me for mine this time.
