Entertainment Coupons for United???

Anyone ever used these or know how they work. We're thinking about getting the entertainment book and I saw these coupons listed. I'm just wondering how hard they would be to us and if it would even be worth the hassle.

I know they are hard to use, but I think I remember seeing airfare that they could be used on near CHristmas last year. I use www.itasoftware.com or www.sidestep.com to search for prices

I used them a few years ago for an overseas flight. There is a minimum purchase when you use them, and most discounted domestic flights are not eligible.
