Entertainment cards

Can anyone help me? To book a room for the EC rate, is there a code or do you have to present the card? Where do you get these cards. I can book a room in Bangor Maine with an entertainment card, but I don't have one and would it be worthwhile to get one for two uses? Thank for any input.

You can get an Entertainment Card when you order an Entertainment Book from Entertainment.com. You can order the book from your area or any city that you will be visiting during 2006. The card is found inside the cover of the book.

To book the room at the Entertainment rate, you can either do it thru the Entertainment.com website or by phoning the hotel and booking it directly there. Most hotels will require that you show them the card when you check in.

We've used our Entertainment Book for several hotel rooms over the years. There are a couple different ways to book through Entertainment - "Guaranteed Best Rate" and "Direct to Hotel". I think only one booking method requires non-refundable payment up front.

Anyway, the Entertainment rates tend to be amongst the best...and I do try hard to find the absolute best rates.
Be aware, hotels have limited number of rooms available at that rate for any given date. You may want to get your quote then decide if it's worth buying the book.

If you are looking to buy a book for a vacation, you can purchase your local book...It is good for hotels nationwide. We have definitely saved way more than the price of the book on travel arrangements. There are usually coupons for rental cars, airlines and many, many others. If you buy your local book, you can take advantage of all the great local savings through the rest of the year - until November, 2006!
