Dear Friends

Please help me with this question.

Is there a source for purchasing Entertainment books here in Canada/Toronto? And if so, can we use the car rental coupons provided in orlando, or do you need to buy the orlando E Book to get the proper coupons for use at MCO?

Penny

Thanks for any help!

:wave2:

One year my friend's DD school sold them for a fundraiser and that is how I got my first one for TO! I used the coupons no problem! There are no restrictions on those coupons. (well except the company restrictions)

If you order right not thru mousesavers, there is no shipping charges.

Good Luck!

I bought an Orlando Entertainment book this year when they were on sale for $10 and shipping was free. It arrived in two days, postmarked from London, Ontario. I have used the car rental coupons to rent vehicles here in Ontario so I would guess that the reverse would be true. I have also used the McDonalds and Burger King coupons-pretty generic.

I have a nephew who has Multiple Sclerosis. The MS society sells the entertainment books as one of their fundraisers.

You used to be able to get them right here in Toronto, but the Entertainment office on Dufferin St. closed recently. When I called the 800 number they could only ship them from the US and it started to get a bit complicated. (the gentleman on the phone suggested that if I could just get to Vancouver he thought there might be an office still open there) My DS's school sells them in September, usually, when the new books come out.

The car rental coupons are good pretty much anywhere in the US or Canada - we've used them before in Orlando with no problem. In fact, the current 2004 book has most of the local coupons expiring on November 1/2004, but all of the car rental coupons expire on December 31/2004. We always manage to make good use of the local coupons, and once you've used 1 or maybe 2 coupons, the book has paid for itself.

I've seen the books carried in hospital gift shops as a hopsital fund raiser, too.

Scratch - for Mousesavers, is there also free shipping to Canada?

Good Luck!

Yup, free shipping. I ordered mine through them. They shipped from London, Ontario.

then, I am going to get the 2004 book off of mousesavers, with the free shipping .

I pick up our car on 10/30/04 so that is perfect for me. Thanks all for the word of advice. Will get the 2005 for our rental next spring.

So went on line to order the book and instead did the 10 day online subscription. It was free, then 3.99 a month after that.

But just needed the national coupons, so the 10 day is fine for me. You get to print 3 coupons during your free time and I need the national coupon for two trip.

Becareful if you want to get the dinning coupons do not sign up until just before leaving as they are good for only 14 days from printing. The had the chocolate store at DTD, buy one get one fudge sundae, Coney Island seafood buffet BOGO, and Baskervilles, BOGO.

Hope this can help others.

I've got the book if you'd like it. We can't use it. I thought we would be going in Sept of this year and we aren't now.

pm me and we'll figure it out.
