Entertainment Book 2010 - Budget Tip!

I was just at Bed Bath & Beyond exchanging something (they rock!) and I saw that they were selling the local Entertainment Book for 2010 at the counter for $30, and if you bought it, you would get a $5 rebate in the mail. I asked if I was allowed to use one of the 20% off coupons BB&B always sends out, to buy that, and they said yes. So when I do, it will come to $24, plus I will get the $5 rebate...total cost: $19. They have $20 in discounts in there just for Shop Rite allone.

Also - If you have a Buy Buy Baby near you and need to use it (like I do), they will accept the 20% off Bed Bath coupons since they are owned by the same company. I bought a CAR seat this way and saved $40! Wish I'd known about that when I got my breast pump. ;o)

I got one yesterday at Walgreen's. It was $35, but they had a $10 coupon, which made it $25. I just happened to be in the store, and saw the ad. It was the last day of the sale.

I'm confused-my daughter's swim team is selling these and they are only $20. Are they different prices in different regions?

I was thinking the same thing about the price when I saw it in Bed bath and beyond... I think for fundraisers they are cheaper. I do not know why but I know last year when our school sold them they were only $20.

They are also priced differently by region. Ours is usually $30 but if I was to buy the one for Anaheim it would be more. And yes, I think fundraisers are cheaper too.
