Entertaining kids while waiting in lines

We pack a small bag of books, coloring stuff, etc... That way if it gets to that point as a last option we can pull out something. We also keep small snacks along.

We usually saved snacks for the line. I got 2 small pooh fabric bags from one of the stores in MK. I think they sell them at most places. THey have a handle and come with candy. I ditched the candy and got a bag of Mickey Pretzels.
When we got in line we had the pretzels and their drinks and they were content. They were 15 months and almost 3 at the time.
