This is the first time my kids will be flying and we are flying out of Pearson in November. Our flight is at 5:25 and direct to Orlando.

How do you keep kids busy in Terminal 1? Tips, tricks, all are welcome!

Thank You !

Guess it depends on their age. My son has usually played on his switch or another handheld device or watched movies on an iPad. He was 7 when I started taking him.

Pack some snacks

1. Play a game of I spy at the Airport

2. Watch a Disney movie on your portable electronic device

3. Tell a story competition
Each person tells their favorite family/friend story
(Remember when Grampa or Nana ......................................).

5. Paper & Pen games
X and O's
hangman

5. Write in a Disney Journal

6. Pack a mini Lego set and see who can build it the fastest

7. Shop for a treat

8. Make a photo List & have them see if they can shoot a photo of each thing on the list.

9. Play games on your phone

10. Play a card game , Fish, 21, crazy 8's

11. Read a book on your iPad

12. My Granddaughter used to love crafts so I packed a small craft bag ,Disney stickers, sparkle marker, paper etc.

Have a great Holiday

Hugs

Thanks guys. We have a 4 and 7 year old and they do have tablets but get cranky if on them too much if that makes sense? Just trying to mix things up.

Depending on how early you get there, sometimes it's fun just to explore. Your kids are going to be sitting for 3 hours on a plane so we like to get a bit of energy out before they have to be "contained". We get a drink or a snack and watch the planes out the windows. Since you're flying out right around dinner time, maybe take a look at what food options are available and get a quick dinner before you fly out since meal options on the planes are limited these days.

My kids were also 4 and 6 for their first trip to WDW, and first plane ride. They each had Nintendo DS’s and mostly played new games on them while waiting but we tried to mix things up by playing I-Spy etc.. My husband and I would take turns bringing them to walk around, or just to look out the windows at the planes. We also did numerous washroom visits, these all help to pass the time. Now that they are teens, they are just glued to their iPhones, I miss them when they were that age!

Yeah, my youngest has very little emotional regulation right now so he has a glass shattering scream that I would like to protect from others! HIs brother loves to taunt him
