I hope this is allowed here on the boards...if not, mods please remove.

I am looking for some corporate codes/ pins for Enterprise to remove the Underage driver fees. Typically these are from colleges and universities. I have been using the University of Oregon, but the PIN has changed. If anyone can help out, I'd appreciate it! We're going down for our honeymoon and on a very tight budget and what we planned on was the rental price with this code that we have been using for 4 years now, and now since we can't access it, we are worried that we won't be able to cover the extra cost for the underage driver fees! Thanks! :worship:

Check with your employer and whatever University you work for or attend.

You want to fradulently use a code you're not eligible to use? For the most part posters on DIS are looking for honest discounts. They don't want to be surprised with a request for University ID. Some of the "codes" that waive the undeage surcharge are only applicable if you're on a business trip. Others are also available if you're on a leisure trip.

You might try a google search. Also check sites like fatwallet and flyertalk. They frequently have the information you're looking for.

edited to add You said you're on a tight budget. What will it do to your budget if you're asked for ID? Your rental is re-rated at walkup (non-discounted) rate? I agree with Hannathy. Consider staying onsite, use DME and Disney transportation.

If you are on that tight of a budget why not use ME and rely on Disney transportation? That is a real budget saver!

Using a fraudulent code is one thing to say you are at a convention or a savings club member when you aren't but to use a University you don't attend for underage rates can be a real Pandora's box if you happen to be in an accident or have a problem with the car. There could be real repercussions with this little fib.

DISBoards does not allow the discussion of codes/pins that one is most certainly not eligible to use.

I'll definitely check those sites you provided for a genuine discount code! Thanks!

I forgot about ME because we have never stayed on-site before, so this thought never crossed my mind. I'm used to worrying about transportation! We originally were going to stay offsite, so when I was first making the plans and checklists, I wrote transportation, and when I looked at it last, I still had that to worry about (forgetting that ME was available now that we switched to onsite). Thanks! That at least will give me another option if I can't find a legit discount code on the sites above! Thanks!

Also, just to be clear, before the first trip that I used this code for, I did call Enterprise (to see what their fee was) and they suggested (oddly enough) that I get a discount code/ corporate ID that would waive the underage fee. I don't know if it was an employee on the way out from the company that I happened to talk to or what, but since that person suggested that, I figured they were freely usable. Apparently not! Common sense told me that they are given to certain corporations for certain reasons and that is why they are not published, but when I was told to find one on the internet, I figured the company didn't care much.

You misunderstood, I was suggesting those sites as a sources of non-legit codes. Codes which you're not eligible to use.

It's possible the Enterprise employee was suggesting checking withyour employer and your school and see if they have a code you're entitled to use.

I guess it's possible the Enterprise employee was suggesting you find a code on the internet. Problem is that advice is worthless if the clerk at the rental counter asks for ID.

I just want to chime in and say that the vast majority of the time the WDW transportation system runs smoothly and effeciently. So much so that when we used to drive to Florida we would park the car at the hotel and not move it the entire week because it was easier (even with young children in tow) to take the busses.

If you are staying onsite it is an EASY way to save yourself some money from that tight budget you mention.

This is becoming a stonger possibility. I have not ever used it, so I get a little worried about waiting times for the busses as well as "crowd levels" for them when we go in the middle - end of July. Will we have to wait for about 2-3 busses to come before we can find a seat?

Since when? This topic comes up more than anything else here on the travel board.

Threads of this nature have dramatically decreased in the past 6 months, the moderators are quick to close them in most cases, this one has remained open mostly because of the turn it has taken, no doubt.

We have had one trip (out of about 30) when the bussing systm had recently changed and wait times were terrible. Otherwise, unless you are trying to go from resort to resort (say from your hotel to dinner at another hotel) it is pretty simple. Our experience has been that when crowds are very high (park close or right after the fireworks for example) that you may have to wait for a 2nd or 3rd bus but they send them around very frequently at such times so the wait is rarely longer than it is at other times of the day. There have only been a handful of times that we have waited more than 20 minutes. Even going from one hotel to another isn't too bad if you just plan it well and allow a little time (or, if you just have one or two dinners where this may be an issue it may still be much cheaper to get a cab for those couple of times than to rent a car for the week).
I hope whatever you decide to do works well for you and that you have a great trip.

Not really. Previously posters claimed the codes were available to the public. Some posters at least pretended to think the code was a legit code available to the public. I don't see as many threads. I suspect the moderators may be deleting them.

This thread is a request for a code the poster isn't entitled to use.

The OP is on a buidget. They're staying onsite. DME and Disney transportation is the way to go. They could supplement Disney transportation with a couple of taxis and still save money.

Hertz currently have a legitimate underage code (available to everyone) that waives the daily fee for drivers 21-24. It currently expires 3-31 but may be extended, as it has been in the past.

You can find details here:
http://www.carrentalsavers.com/hertz.html

The promotion code can be combined with CDP codes so you may even be able to find a better rate or at least a comparable rate to Enterprise.
