My family and i are coming to Disney in November and were thinking of renting a car for a few days

Since my husband gets a discount through Enterprise, we are going to use them.

I know they have a location at the airport and I see they have one at Disney Royal Plaza, Lake Buena Vista.

Can someone please tell me where Disney Royal Plaza is ?

I am trying to figure out if this is near one of the parks, or a particular hotel or maybe near DTD.

If anyone knows, can you please tell me?

Thank You much :wizard:

It's on Hotel Plaza Blvd near DTD, they may offer a pick up and drop off service, many of the rental companies in the area do, give them a call to confirm.

You could walk there from DTD Marketplace in about 15 minutes, it's approx 1/2 mile.

They do pickup at Disney Resorts, I have used ME to get bak and forth to MCO and rent from there in the middle of the trip. The rates are less than at MCO and i can get a smaller car since I dont have to worry about luggage.

Two Things:
1. Call a few days in advance to get a convenient pick up time at your resort
2. They will do a 1 way rental for an extra $50. Reserve online or at the 800 number and then call the local office

Looks to be a very easy walk.

Take the bus to DTD (Marketplace) and walk there.....

Great. Thank you both for a quick answer

That does not look too bad :thumbsup2

Your Enterprise Discount Code may also work at National, give it a try for a rate comparison :)

Good idea. Will check it out. Thanks:goodvibes

I think this might be better for us, since we have a 7 year old who might whine having to walk to rental office

Thanks everyone for your answer. I really appreciate it

Bring on November :cool1:

I am gonna resurrect an old thread instead of starting a new one because it is perfectly suited for what I am doing.

Does anyone know if Enterprise still charges a $50 fee for one way rentals, and if so is that something they tack on when you drop it off but don't see when you make the reservation?

I reserved an Enterprise car to be picked up at MCO and returned to Royal Plaza Hotel two days later and the entire rental for a full-size car only cost $60.45 total with all taxes and fees.

We usually don't like to drive while on vacation and have never driven in Orlando before, but since we are arriving on August 31, 2013 and free dining doesn't start until September 2, 2013 we are going to stay offsite at a Universal Partner hotel for Saturday and Sunday night and go to Universal the first two days.

We need to be transported from MCO to Universal on Saturday and from Universal to Pop Century on Monday morning. Mears didn't offer "round trip" service for that since it was two different routes, so I would have to pay two one way shuttles and that would be two $68 trips for two adults and two kids or $136. I didn't even get to call Tiffany Town Car to see if they would give me the round trip rate of $115 to do two different routes (instead of airport to Disney/Universal and then back to the airport which I am sure is their more standard fare) before I found this super rate on a car and decided to reserve it.
