We are visiting Disney World in October. We made breakfast reservations at the Crystal Palace for 8:20 am on a day when the park will open at 8 am for those staying onsite (Early Magic Hour). We are staying offsite. We were assured by the lady taking the reservation that we could get in the park early with our confirmation number for the breakfast reservation. My question.... after eating breakfast, would we be able to ride the open rides before the official park opening at 9 am? Or do you have to show an onsite room key to be allowed on the rides before 9 am?

Thanks for any help you could give me on this.

You will have no problem getting into the park for your breakfast ADR but if your reservation is for 8:20 and the park opens for EMH at 8:00, what rides do you think you will get a chance to ride before the park opens for the general public at 9:00? You should normally check in for you ADR 15 to 20 minutes ahead of time. Unless you eat really fast you probably won't be out of breakfast until after 9:00 if you want photos with the characters.

If you do find time to ride a few rides, you will have no issues. They do not issue wrist bands for the morning EMH's, just the evening EMH.

Have fun!!!!

Make sure you have your Confirmation No for your dining reservation with you. They may ask for that at the TTC when you try to get on the monorail. Usually they hold back the off site guests at the TTC until just about 9.

Those are very good tips!

We were there last week and did CRT for breakfast. The ticket area you use for early morning for dining reservations were the ones to the right. There was a sign up directing you to those areas. They will ask if you have meal reservations. I simply said yes and they let us continue. I guess I looked like I knew what I was doing "Thanks to this board site" or my DGD Cinderalla Dress that her Great Gm made, as the same CM stopped the people behind us and verified their reservations. :flower:

We had an 8:10 at Crystal Palace and by the time we got pictures with all the characters and finished breakfast, it was about 9:15. So yeah, with an 8:20 time, you are going to be really rushing if you want to get out to the park before 9:00. And that isn't very fun.
