entering MK before opening

we had breakfast at cp last april at 8:05. Unlike in the past when they'd check your reservation # before getting into park they were letting anyone into the park at 8 but had to stop at the ropes inside. Are they still doing this?

Was it an EMH day where the park opened at 8 for resort guests? Or possibly a marathon morning? Other than that, the park typically opens at 9am, and only those with an ADR, or tour, or BBB reservation can gain entrance to the park before the morning show countdown.

it was not a emh or marathon. it was last april. They just stopped the people at rope drop near adventurland, tomorrow and in front of castle.

Yes,still happening.

They don't check reservation #s anymore at MK(they do at the other parks)-they just ask Guests if they have a Tour or Dining reservation-it is the Honor System.

When we had ADRs for Crystal Palace, they had us scan our MBs to see that our reservations were linked on our MDE and gained entrance through the left gates that way.

I have an 8:30 tour booked but it is not linked on my MDE, so that won't work for me! My ADRs are not linked either.

Well this is interesting ... We book cp again for 8:05 pretty much for this reason. Eat quick get to rope in adventure land.
