entering Epcot at IG before park opens...

a friend of mine just decided to do the Segway tour at 8:30 a.m. at Epcot. She is staying at the Dolphin. Will they have her name on a list at the International Gateway entrance, like they do for breakfast ADRs? Or does she have to go alllll the way around to the main entrance?

(I put this on the restaurants board just because I figured more people on this board would know about getting into the park early, and at the WS entrance, due to breakfast reservations. If mods feel the need to move this, please do!)

I've never tried for an early ADR at Epcot but I suppose they might let you in at WS. Can't say for sure.

But, they'll have to walk all the way to guest relations near the front entrance anyway so by the time they walk to the WS entrance from the Dolphin and then all the way through the park, they could have taken a bus to the front entrance and saved their feet.

I guess they could take a boat that early but then it has to stop at the Yacht/Beach club before going on to Epcot.

Yes, they will have your friend's name on a list with the ADRs. I did an early Segway tour a few months ago while staying at the Boardwalk and was able to enter at the IG. It was great walking through the UK and Canada areas with no one else around.

There is no bus from the Dolphin (or any of the Epcot resorts) to the front of Epcot. Unless one wants to take a cab, the only way to enter Epcot from those resorts is to walk/take a boat to the IG entrance.

My sister and her family were staying at the BWV and couldn't get in the IG for our 7:30 segway tour. They had to drive over. The people at the gate did have our names on a list. I have a picture of my dh and sons all alone in front of SE.

I think I heard the EARLY Segway tour...you have to go to the front gate. I am pretty sure the 8:30 a.m. tour you can go to IG. I found this link..
