ENOUGH with the SNOW!

Do not provoke the Yankees!!! We will store snow and throw it at you!!!

Or the Red Sox, which is even worse since they are more likely to actually hit you. :goodvibes

I feel everyone's pain regarding the snow...It's a mess here in Boston:sad2:
I am soooo ready to pack up and move to Florida...ASAP!

Glad to see a thread where we can complain about the snow! I feel like it's been snowing here in NY for 3 days straight...although I guess we did get a few hours off yesterday. It's finally stopped here.

I don't mind looking at snow, it's pretty and all that, but I HATE to drive in it, and it doesn't seem that they're doing a bang up job of cleaning the roads. From where I'm sitting in my house I have a great view of my neighbors all out there cleaning off their driveways...our neighbor had been nice enough to plow ours with his 4 wheel/snowmobile type thingy (yeah, that's the technical name for it!) but it now appears to be stuck! That's not good, considering we only have one snow shovel (just moved here in September.) So I guess my poor DH is on his own!

The snow just stopped! Yippie! Its been going since Friday am here in CT. Cant wait to get to Florida! Whip

Current temp. in Toledo is 2 degrees. That's not the windchill. That's the temperature. The next 2 weeks can't go fast enough.

Oh, come on, give us more updates on the miserable weather in the northeast and mid-west. It was clear and mid-40's here, all day.

It finally quit snowing here but they just posted blizzard warning along Lake Michigan (we live about an hour away from the lake)

The lake effect bands are starting to kick in.

It' s 2 degrees here with the windchill at 20 below. Funny thing is the day after Christmas it's supposed to be in the 40's here.

Here's my quick SE new england weather update. It's not raining or snowing anymore (for now) but windy as heck and freezing the slush on the ground. fun commute in the morning, now back to your regurlaly scheduled podcast thread.

It has snowed here near Buffalo all day. School was closed last Friday because of the snow. I think we had a high of maybe 20 degrees earlier today. The winds are now gusting to 40 mph and I can't see my outside Christmas lights from my window. All I want to do is finish my Christmas shopping but I can't get out of my driveway. The snow plow has not been by at all today. My DH just said to me "Why aren't we in Disney now?" :cool2:

DH and I just came in from shoveling about a foot of snow that has come down since early this morning. It finally stopped but is now blowing around like crazy. Thank goodness for the Toro electric shovel! Had to do the driveway twice as we cleared it and then cleared off the cars so we had to do it again. It's been crazy around here since the ice storm last week. We need a break!

It's still snowing here but I think it's on it's last flakes! There may be a band or two later but I think it's just about done!!

Here is my gas grill...

anyone up for some snow cold burgers??:lmao:

It's 1 degree F here with a -22 degree windchill....:scared1: My DH went on our deck to fire up the grill (yes he does that ALL winter) and he could NOT get it to heat up very fast....it's a gas grill but it took forever to get it cooking at the right temp. :upsidedow

I figure I'll see my grill come spring... maybe... :sad2:

I enjoy the snow but this is rediculous. Over 20" and 6 hours of shoveling between yesterday and today. After the 7 hour Christmas shopping trip today, the last thing I needed was 3 hours of shoveling until 10pm. :headache:

I went to the Rotterdam Mall yesterday with mom and they hadn't even plowed the place...

And now it is blowing all over and I will have to go out and shovel tomorrow anyway...
