ok.......I am sitting in my living room, watching the more than 18 inches come down in my back yard.....DREAMING of Old Key West.....

Calgon take me there now!!!!!!!:scared1:

Hard to believe that we were there only a week ago.

Living 500 feet from Lake Erie is NOO pleasure in winter. Got back on wednesday, and when the plane broke the clouds, and I saw white roofs and driveways (and realized it WASNT sand) I KNEW our pilot had made a WRONG TURN!!!
Snow is a four letter word for a reason!:grouphug:

Do y'all want to know that it's bright and sunny here in Orlando with a current temperature of 73 degrees?

They are predicting a cold front moving in....and it's going down to 58 tomorrow. Brrrr!!!!!

Oh....you didnt want to know?

Sorry. :)

ACKK KEVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like 2º F. here, with a windchill of -20º F. and almost 2 feet of snow. :(

I would seriously give anything to live in Florida or Cali right now...

Thanks for that Kevin!! I'll be joining you guys down there in 2 weeks, so it's nice to know that I'll be escaping the foot of snow around my house to go to the Happiest and WARMEST place on Earth for four months. WOO!:woohoo:

What happened to global warming?:confused3

I live 1/4 mile from the ocean and we almost never get snow accumulation. Looking at my backyard blows that theory right out the water (pun intended).

I'm being a goof....but I'm listening to the weather report (John has the news on in the other room) and I would be miserable in that weather.

I did that for 35 years and that was ENOUGH!

Housing in FL has not been cheaper in many, many years so the DIS family should all head on down.

We took over TSM, I'm pretty sure we could take over Orlando.....apparently all you need is a light saber and vodka slushies.

I'm checking the real estate listings. How does the area northwest of WDW sound? Easy access to WDW without being over-run by tourists?

You can head in virtually any direction and find some great polaces to live.

Most of the suburban areas see no tourist activity and once you live here....you figure out how to avoid the tourist corridors (I-Drive, 192, Apopka Vineland Road) during busy times of the year.

Count me in! When you have a winter storm warning for existing snow that's BLOWING everywhere, you know it's bad.

Wind chills expected to -28 over the next few days...

The joys of living in Wisconsin near the lake... ;)

Don't forget batteries.

I liked Davenport. I may look into it. You poor unfortunate souls...

I'm loading the U-Haul as I type this..... I wish.

Actually, I'm visiting In-Laws in Northeast Ohio where the wind chill is expected to be almost 0. Light Sabers and vodka slushies are nice, but I'd be more than happy to accept Meteor showers and screaming dinosaurs to escape this weather.

How about a podcast crew prizematron prize be all expenses paid for a mover to the Orlando area?

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee???

Aww Kevin, thanks for turning the knife.....pouring salt in the wound....rubbing it in.....

I'm counting the days until Feb.::cheer2:
