Enough to do at Disneyland Studios Paris for a day?

I was looking at the attractions at the Studios and there doesn't seem to be a lot of things. With the Moteurs show closed when I visit, the offerings are less. Is there enough to do at the Studios for a full day? Is there anything else beyond the advertised attractions to do?

well I have to admit on our first trip we stayed till 3.30pm(did everything apart from armageddon , studio tour and parade) and our second till about 1.30pm.(it was to cold, so we just left for cafe mickey.)

I love the Studios but understand why a lot of people don't. I don't think it's a full-day park, we usually go in the morning to watch the opening parade and end up leaving by early afternoon and come back another day to watch the Cinema parade. It's a good place to go for lunch if the Disneyland park is very busy.

On our last trip we spent a full day in the Studios and still had one or two more things that we returned the following morning to do. It was a very enjoyable day, which surprised me because on previous visits we've gone in and out of the park as quickly as possible, preferring to spend our time in the Magic Kingdom. It's a shame that the Stunt Show isn't on, but my list of
Definate do's in WDS is
Cinemagique
Tram Tour
Animagique
Art of Animation
Cyber Space Mountain (try & avoid the TV tour if you can)
Rock n Roller Coaster
Armageddon

Checkout the show schedules and have a rough plan of what you're doing when, that way you should be able to make the best of your time and if you've got a hopper ticket then I'd suggest going to the WDS first and into Disneyland Park later in the day

the studio tour is sooooo dull, I took my poor dd 3 at the time on it .

Animagique is one of my dd favourite attraction in the whole resort.

Cinemagique is very good and even dd enjoyed it though she was only young.

Art of animation is okay however don't think it is brilliant, dd loved it though as she like mushu.


we do enjoy the studio also its agood place to go if it is very cold or very hot.

After our first time I would've been tempted to agree, it was sleeting and freezing cold when we rode, it broke down several times and we couldn't wait to get off and we didn't bother with it again until this year.

In the sun it was a completely different experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I meant the TV studio tour..I think the studio tram tour is good.

The most interesting thing on the studio tour was a guy who was a sleep...obviously a boring job as well.

We managed to stay until mid-afternoon. Must do's are Animagique and Cinemagique (we always avoided these on past trips - but they are fantastic). Everythingelse at the Studios is worth seeing or having a go on with the exception of the TV tour which is truly a waste of space. The only thing that made me go through it is that it enables you to enter Cyber-Mountain (where you can design a roller-coaster and then ride on it on a virtual ride). However, when we eventually got to to Cyber-Mountain we discovered that our 8yr old was too small to have a go

I agree. It is our favorite at the Studios.

Been off the boards for a while,the real world does intrude from time to time.
Going back to DLP in July (last there in Oct 2004)
I see from other posts that the Stunt Show is/will be closed anybody know
what dates are affected ????

Never managed to avoid the tour just to get on Cyber Space tho

As for the park, there is not enough to keep me there for the full day, but maybe if you have kids and want to take it slowly and do stuff like the Animation Studios and things which i never do, you might last till closing

I cant say about DLP Studios as I have not been and cant wait to go in August. I remember my first trip to MGM in 1992 and hated it. There was nothing to do there. It had only been open a year. Now I love it there. There is so much to do. The kids love playhouse Disney. The mermaid show they love.

Fingers crossed the same will happen with studios.

hi the studios at DLP is a lot different than wdw, there is stuff there for children however not a lot for a 2 year old I'm afraid. Animagique is fantastic for kids, I am sure they will love it, and there is the flying carpet ride that is at MK at wdw. Art of Animation is good and my dd liked it as it had mushu in it. she also went on the Tram tour and she liked the stunt show.(she was 3)

It will be a lot better for kids next year when Toon studios is open,

The best thing about the studios is it easier to meet the characters at the main park and they have all the pixar ones like toy story. The queues for mickey and minnie are also shorter as well.
