enough time for Soarin before breakfast

We have an ADR for breakfast at Akershus on Sunday @ 9:35. If we get to the park for rope drop (what time would you reommend?) and head straight for Soarin' could we be at Akershus in time. (we'll be walking at the speed of a 4 year old) If not, could we send some group members to the restaurant to "hold" the rese until the rest of us get there?

You'll be fine as long as your are among the first through the turnstiles when they open. Often they'll let you in at 8:50 if the park opens at 9. I would get to the opening "gates" no later than 8:15, and you'll be fine.

4 year olds don't walk very quickly, especially for that distance. If you carry the 4 year old from the Land to Norway, you might make it.

You may be better off getting FastPasses for Soarin as soon as you enter the park or sending someone to the restaurant. If you will be walking at the speed of a four year old, you are still talking about quite a distance.

If you are the first group to ride Soarin at 9am, just walking through the prep-line with pre-flight movie, boarding, instructions and seat-belt check, is going to take you some time. If you have a slow Castmember that is in charge of boarding, line movement, etc., that will cause another delay, not to mention the walk from Soarin to World Showcase with a four-year old.

Instead of adding stress, just get FastPasses and everyone ride Soarin after your meal. You'll be relaxed and no pressure.

I wouldn't try to do it. That's a long walk from Soarin to Akershus. Even if you are one of the first ones entering the park, you'd be hard pressed to ride it and make it over to Norway for your 9:35 ADR. Plus, I'm pretty sure you are still requested to check in for your ADR 15 minutes prior and they do expect your entire party to be there when you are seated.

I would FP Soarin' rather than try to fit it in right after RD unless Epcot is having morning EMH. If it's a regular 9:00 opening there's no guarantee that you'll be in the first group to ride Soarin' since there will be many others also headed there.

If you're walking at a 4 year old's pace it will probably take about 10 minutes to get to Akershus. Disney recommends that you arrive at the restaurants about 10-15 minutes early so that means for a 9:35 res, you're hoping to be done with Soarin' by 9:15 which is unlikely.

Also, the restaurants will not check you in until your entire party is there so sending part of your group ahead will not help.
