Planning a trip for the end of May 2013. Wondering if a family of 4 can expect to see most everything at Universal (not IOA just Universal) & still have time to head over to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner & the EWP at the end of the day.

Same goes for IOA, could we expect to see most everything in 1 day @ IOA & head over to the Poly for the luau in the evening?

Major planning session going on today. :cool1:

I don't see why not. Arrive at each park at the beginning of the day, and you should be fine to see most everything at that park and make dinner plans at WDW.

(I'm assuming this is not during super-high season such as Christmas week.)

Thx for the feedback. :) We're going around the end of May, hope the crowds then are NOTHING like Christmas lol.

I would try not to make my dinner plans too early and also I wouldn't linger over lunch for too long. You have the potential for heavy traffic so allow extra time.

We used to go back and forth a lot with sometimes spending the early part of the day in Universal and sometimes at a Disney park. Traffic was sometimes the biggest headache.

You're on vacation...don't spend all your time rushing around.

Do the Disney stuff on non-Universal nights so you can have more time.

if you avoid friday, saturday and memorial day, you should be fine.

going when the crowds can be lower.

I second that. As well as staying onsite at Universal the night between USF and IOA so you can enjoy express pass.

Thanks for weighing in everyone! :thumbsup2 It looks like we're going to have a pretty large group with several "once in a lifetimers" so this visit is going to be a bit more on the move than normal for us.
