Enough Rollaways at Portofino?

I've just seen a thread about the Portofino and how they no longer have any deluxe rooms with sofa beds. I have just contacted my Travel Agent to see if they can add a note to my booking to say that we will need one as we are a party of five, but I'm concerned in case they only have a limited number available. Do you think that we might have a problem getting one?:confused3

We will be flying in from the UK with two small children, so I don't really want to be going out to try and buy an airbed when we are all tired - I am now beginning to regret booking the hotel through a third party rather than just booking direct.:sad2:

orbitz, travelocity?

you can rent a nightly roll away bed as the sofa beds are gone.
 
instead of the long distance phone call, send an email requesting one roll away be held for your arrival date.

do ask for confirmation one will be set aside for you.

The third party is Asda Travel (A supermarket/Travel Agent - part of the Walmart chain I believe, but here in the UK).

I'll happily rent one for the three nights, I just want to make sure I can get one :thumbsup2 I'll email the hotel direct - thank you for your advice:thumbsup2
 
do request an email reply if they say they will hold one for you.

if they run short, they will either upgrade you or get a rollaway from another loews hotel for you.


you can call star service on your phone for the linens, pillows, blankets, etc for the rollaway when you arrive in your room.

or you can email the hotel and request it be set up for you before you arrive that night.


i know our Sam's Club which is an extension of the Walmarts have a travel service for members.


i don't know how much service they do provide to the customer that uses them.


i did a car rental thru the travel service of Walmart some years back.
i had an issue but they did not step in to help me take care of it.

I've emailed the Portofino, so I'll update here on their response incase it helps anyone else :)

Just to update you all - Had an email back from the Portofino last night, confirming they have noted my request for a rollaway bed for our trip - so I can breath again!!;) I'll make sure I print their email and take it with me in case of any problems upon arrival.
