Enough already!! Regarding posts about the moderators of these boards!

Is there a full moon?

There have been more than a few sarcastic posts directed at the moderators of this board and I am getting sick of them! Some days it really sucks to be a moderator. Days when people are sarcastic and smart alecks and think it is open season to take shots at the people who have been chosen to moderate these boards. That's not fun and it's not funny.

Some things I am really passionate about and protecting my mods is one of them. You mess with them, you mess with me.

I don't want to read about double standards or any other complaint without having received an email or PM about it FIRST. That is how you address problems properly. These good people are VOLUNTEERS!!! They do what they do to make the DIS a fun place for everyone, young and old, and no one will be allowed to publicly take shots at them, so knock it off!!

I would like to take this opportunity to THANK Katholyn, WillyJ, Patrick, snoopy, glo, Robinrs, bsnyder ..... oh yeah and Alex too
for the terrific but sometimes thankless job they do here.

I, for one, appreciate all of you!!

I appreciate the CB mods too! I may not always agree with them, but that's okay! I disagree with respect and they in turn treat me with respect! I've been asked to check myself (and just recently too! ) It's okay! They're doing what's good for the whole, what's best for the entire board, not just what's best for a few.

I appreciate them very much! Thank you CB mods, CC and Alex for trying to keep the CB a friendly, family place to visit.

I don't really know what is going on other than a lot of people sniping at each other and the moderators. Sometimes it helps to be in the dark

I do know however from personal experience (my DH is a moderator on a totally different board - not the DIS) that moderating is a thank less job.

So I just wanted to post and say thank you to the moderators for all they do. I really appreciate it. This goes not only for the community board, but all the boards here on the DIS especially the cruise and DVC boards where I hang out the most.

I have no idea what started this latest ruckus, but just want to say THANK YOU to each and every moderator. If this website had no moderators I'm sure it wouldn't be a place I'd want to hang out.

sometimes it is hard when your feelings get hurt.. sometimes you don't know you are hurting someone else's feelings.. people react differently... some run away, some hide, some stand up, some shout and some even verbally attack.

I once again am in the dark about stuff, thank goodness!! I come here to the DIS to have a laugh and be happy, not get into conflict!

I have been to various chat rooms where little or no moderating is done, and I sure don't stay in them long! The DIS boards are a GREAT place to "hang out" and I applaud the mods that make this place what it is! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!!

Count me among those of you giving huge thanks to the mods. You all do a great job. I know that sometimes my convoluted sense of humor is taken the wrong way. I'm really trying to curb that. Will try harder. Thanks again.
