English school system............

I am looking for some info on the school system in England. Here in the US, we have:

K-6th grade: Elementarty School
7-8th grade: Jr. High/Middle school
9-12th grade: Sr. High/High school
2 yr. Community college or 4 yr. University

Could someone please post the equivalent in England? Thanks so much!!!

Have a look here for school ages. University is usually a three or four year course, four years usually include a gap/vocational year. Most people go to University at the age of 18.
