I love the Kooks, Good Shoes are okay, and I've never heard of the first until now.
There's a lot more good English inde bands.
Like... Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Test Icicles, The Stone Roses, Muse, Hot Club de Paris, The Pigeon Detectives, and then there's Franz Ferdinand and the Fratellis, but they're from Scotland not England, close enough though.

I absolutely love Jamie T. I would love to see him play live but he never ever comes to America and the one time he did it was 18+ and I was only 17 and 9 months so they wouldn't let me in. ridiculous.

I'm going to London in late June for the Blur Reunion. I'm hoping he announces a show for that week.

Panic Prevention is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Sorry I'm excited because no one that I know has ever heard of him. haha

Some more of my favourite Indie bands are.. Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, The Pigeon Detectives, Franz Ferdinand, the Fratellis, The Storys, the Clash, Blur..
i love Paulo Nutini too. I don't know if he counts as indie though.
There's loads more, I just can't think right now.

Are we only speaking in terms of English indie bands? I love Airport Girl, Belle & Sebastian, The Boy Least Likely To, British Sea Power, Brontosaurus Chorus, Camera Obscura, Editors, Florence and the Machine, etc.

I like Jamie T and the Kooks are amazing. Also arctic monkeys, kings of leon and zutons are really good. Watch out for the Wallbirds too they are a new indie band that are really good and there songs are out soon (its my firends cousins band!)
