England v USA World Cup party!

Susan and I from the Brit Guide have just been able to confirm that we will be hosts of a big England-USA World Cup soccer party at Miller's Ale House on June 12, from 1.30-5pm (kick-off 2.30pm), in conjunction with Attraction Tickets Direct. It is a separately-ticketed event as it is closed to ticket-holders only that afternoon and it costs £32 (adults) and £25 (children) but it includes unlimited drinks and food for the duration. The Ale House has 85 TVs (!!) and is one of the biggest sports bars in town, hence is ideal for something like this. We will also have a few Brit Guide giveaways during the game and will obviously be happy to meet readers and DISers at any stage.

(It should be pointed out that all the World Cup games will be on regular US TV, on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2, hence it is NOT necessary to attend one of the paid-for events. But we think it will be a lot more fun there!

It sounds as though it should be a lot of fun, particularly as it's at the Ale House. I could easily get my money's worth with unlimited drinks.
