Your pics are amazing! You two are so cute together and look so in love. That is so cool that you got pics on the rides and the one of you both in front of the castle is stunning.
Beautiful, gorgeous pictures! They do such great work but.. I would be careful posting these. If DFTW/Disney really do read these boards I would hate to see them get in trouble or possibly banned from photographing DFTW weddings for doing something against the rules.

I know, I do feel like the little black raincloud! But I am thinking the exact same thing about how protective Disney is ... I will also admit that I am thinking a little selfishly because I don't want the Roots to get in trouble b/c I want to use them!

i think the pics are AMAZING & i would do them even if i WASNT getting engaged!!!!!Those are AWESOME!!!
but i have to agree...Disney isnt gonna like this & if they see it...it means roots could get in BIG trouble
We all know that DFTW isnt allowing outside photographers for receptions in the parks...so you KNOW it applies to engagement pics
Its a major bummer, but thats the rules
The Roots are not the only photographers ever to have done this. Many of the outside photogs beloved on this board have also taken engagement pictures inside the parks. I'm just sayin' is all I'm sayin'...
After seeing your photos on here, I immediately contacted the Roots for a MK shoot for myself and DH!
They made it clear that they made a 1 time exception for you guys, and unless they're shooting for family or close friends, they don't do sessions in the park. I guess I'll be spending the coming months trying to become best friends with them!
You guys give good advice and I've taken down the photos. I thought about leaving some of the more vague photos up, just because they did such a wonderful job, but maybe I'll be inspired to get back to my PJ and share them there.
I should have put a disclaimer out that the Roots don't do park sessions as part of their photography business. It was a four-people-hanging-out-and-two-of-them-have-huge-cameras situation.
Honestly, Disney should hire them to be on their team of Disney photographers, because the work they do is amazing. I like the photos I've seen from Disney sessions, but I think it would be more interesting if there was more variation to choose from. I really like the altered, vintage-feel of Rootography and it would be great if you could choose between that type of photography or more traditional photo sessions.
