Just found out from our DD's boyfriend that he's gonna pop the question next weekend when they are staying at Saratoga!! He's been to Disney a couple times with us, but is by no means an expert so he asked for suggestions of romantic or at least quiet places either at Saratoga or Downtown Disney. Whatcha got experts??!! They are staying in the Congress Park area and having dinner at Disney Springs that night. I was thinking that the walkway along the water coming back from Disney Springs has some benches and a nice view so that might be a possibility and isn't super crowded at night. Any thoughts or other suggestions?!

There is a secluded “secret” walkway between SSR and DS. It goes into a small wooded area on property. If I remember correctly it’s located in the bottom corner of the SSR map. You can see where the woods are. The walkway is not on the map, but you just take a left right before you cross the bridge if you are walking toward DS. It might be nice if he were to propose on the way to dinner so that the dinner is a celebration for them.

This suggestion seems weird to me for a marriage proposal location. This is probably because my family refers to that walkway/shortcut as the "Spooky Trail" 🤣 Not to mention there are signs at both ends saying not to enter after dusk.

I'm a nature person. So to me it's very peaceful. OP asked for a "romantic or at least quiet place." You can't get much quieter than this at WDW.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I am forwarding them on to my future Son-in law!!!
