Engaged at the parks

I haven't witnessed any engagements in the parks personally but have read some really clever ideas getting characters involved or CM's involved somehow as part of the surprise.

A guy I met during the WDWCP in 2003 posted on FB a video of the proposal to his fiancee which he did while they were having a caricature drawing done on Main Street with the assistance of the artist who was drawing for them. I thought that was well executed & her reaction was priceless! I saw another video of a guy who proposed during a meet & greet with Belle in WS & it was so cool to see how surprised his fiancee was & Belle's reaction was also great. He had Belle hand a book to her & when she opened it, there was a note with the ring inside.

During our honeymoon we had lunch at Royal Table and when all the Princesses were out a guy proposed to his girlfriend! It was super cute, all the princesses ran up and fawned over her and the ring.

We saw a proposal on the carousel. It was very sweet. Everyone riding and everyone standing around cheered and clapped.

Two days after my fiance proposed to me (by the partners statue in Disneyland), we were on the Storybook Land boats. Our boat slowed down, and a boat with just a single couple in it came around the bend. The cast member running it gave ours a big thumbs up and a grin. Our cast member announced, If you look over there you'll see a newly engaged couple!

I proposed to my fiance at Cinderellas wishing well! We are returning in December for our honeymoon. Here is the link (if that's allowed?) Please ignore my buddies wife yelling thank jesus in the background hahaha.

I proposed to my fiancée in front of the caste at Disneyland. We got there pretty early so we got some really good pictures with our photopass.

I once saw a proposal at the wishing well in Magic Kingdom. It was so adorable the girl started crying immediately!

Mine wasn't in the parks but my fiance proposed on the Disney Fantasy. He was able to get James Inglehart who plays Aladdin on Broadway to help through video. We are very lucky to know someone who worked with him and I guess that is how he was able to get the hook up. It was on formal night and after I watched the little video the bartender brought a plate with chocolate covered strawberrys and the ring.
